Kyra Walsh (professionally known as LadyVamp) is the primary creative visionary behind the Vamp Manor brand. She is a multi-disciplinary Australian artist whose work blends Victorian-era elegance with dark, macabre fantasy. 

Artistic Journey & Style-

Kyra has been an artist since childhood, using painting, drawing, and sculpting as her primary modes of emotional expression. Her work is deeply personal, often "infusing her feelings and inner turmoil" into her creations to tell a story. 

• Signature Mediums: She is best known for her one-of-a-kind (OOAK) art dolls and sculptures made from polymer clay and her detailed dark illustrations.
• Influences: Her aesthetic is heavily inspired by the Victorian and Edwardian periods, her Scottish Heritage and of course classic and dark horror films. Gothic, horror and folk horror literature are also huge inspiration. 
• Aesthetic Philosophy: She describes her style as a mix of "Gothic Victorian" “Folk Goth” and "Old Haunted Ghost Lady". She advocates for "slow living" and atmospheric interiors that avoid modern aesthetics.

Richard Walsh, known within the community as The Wolf, is the master craftsman and technical director behind the physical transformation of Vamp Manor. While LadyVamp provides the artistic vision, Richard is the "muscle and mechanism" that brings their Gothic world to life.

Technical Background & Role

Richard is a highly skilled carpenter and DIY specialist. His expertise allows the couple to bypass expensive custom furniture designers by building their own high-end Gothic pieces from scratch or via "ReVamps."

• The Master Builder: He is responsible for the Manor's structural Gothic elements, such as the handcrafted coffins, Victorian fireplace mantels, and the custom Gothic Coffee Bar.
• "The Wolf" Persona: His alias reflects his rugged, Viking-inspired aesthetic, often seen with a prominent beard and a style that balances the delicate Victorian look of the manor with a more raw, primal energy.
• Furniture ReVamps: He specializes in identifying the potential in vintage timber furniture, stripping it down, and rebuilding it with dark, ornate details that fit the brand's "haunted" aesthetic.

⚔️ Personal Strength & Health Journey

Richard’s personal story has become a central part of the Vamp Manor legacy, particularly his openness regarding his health:

• Cancer Diagnosis: In March 2023, Richard was diagnosed with terminal/incurable stage 4 cancer (colon cancer with lesions on his liver and spine). Doctors initially gave him a prognosis of roughly 18 months.
• Resilience: As of early 2026, Richard has defied those initial timelines, undergoing over 60 rounds of chemotherapy. Kyra often describes him as a "modern-day Viking" for his strength and refusal to stop working or creating despite the physical toll of treatment.
• Advocacy: He has used his platform to raise awareness, urging others to listen to their bodies and seek medical help early, sharing his story to help prevent others from facing late-stage diagnoses.

• Viking & Celtic Influence: While the Manor is largely Victorian Gothic, Richard brings a Viking/Nordic influence to the brand, which can be seen in some of their more rugged decor and his personal styling.
